Welcome to the Grays Point Soccer Club

friday,3rd July 09

Good Luck to all Grays Point Teams this weekend.

Call to Arms 2009 - help us tackle cancer
Wearing a yellow armband could prevent you wearing a black one.
One in two men will be diagnosed with cancer by age 85 – it could be you or it
could be your best mate. With your newsletters this week will be a roll of yellow tape to be used as arm bands by all players in your team for their game over the weekend of 4/5 July. All that we ask is that you gather the minimum of a gold coin donation from each of your players, your supporters and if possible your opposition. This is a very worthy cause, and if we each give a little, it will add up
to a lot!

Envelopes will be provided for the donations, and can be left in the locked metal box in the Canteen. Special thank you to the Senior teams who put in a bid to wear the yellow socks, and congratulations to the teams who won the honour to wear the socks - AL3’s, AL13’s, 35B’s, and 35E’s. Your bid, whether or not successful, will be in lieu of your gold coin donation, although you are still most welcome to encourage your supporters and opposition to contribute.

Thank you for your support of this very worthy cause. The money you raise will directly fund cancer research, education and support programs for men with cancer.
